It's day three of Hubspot's Inbound 2013 conference in Boston. This week of networking, sharing and learning from other content marketers has been amazing so far. Our co-founders Dechay Watts and Debbie Williams have heard some inspiring speeches, made some important contacts and are learning even more ways to help business owners grow their companies through content marketing.
The long-time friends and business partners have enjoyed catching up in Boston. Now that Dechay is running our Denver branch and Debbie remains at the head of our home base in Pensacola, Florida, they communicate mostly through video conferencing and phone.
But the best part of the week happened on Monday when they learned SPROUT Content won the award for “Greatest Traffic Growth” among Hubspot’s partners. Our website averaged 17.65% growth, which was the highest average monthly growth in visits of Hubspot’s domestic partners since August 2012.
It's quite an honor considering Hubspot has over 1,000 partners worldwide. The Partner Awards celebrate agencies globally that have demonstrated exceptional growth in the inbound marketing space over the past year.
“We really believe in helping business owners grow their companies by just being honest about whom they are. The fact that our belief in this approach connected to people from all over the world enough for them to visit our site just shows that people are craving honest communication. We're thrilled to be a part of this movement in providing transparent, valuable content that connects and makes a difference," said Dechay from Boston.
The goal of content marketing, also known as inbound marketing, is to create deep, meaningful connections between brands and their customers.
“Inbound marketing isn’t a tactic or a channel; it’s an integrated approach that requires remarkable content, effective promotion, and a systemic effort to make marketing more effective and efficient. SPROUT Content has challenged marketers everywhere to take their inbound efforts to the next level by creating compelling content and growing their following rapidly over the past year. We’re proud to have SPROUT Content setting the standard for how to do inbound right,” said Patrick Shea, Head of Channel Marketing for Hubspot.
Dechay and Debbie are among 5,000 attendees in Boston learning more about inbound marketing and networking at this week's conference. We are excited to share our knowledge and expertise with you in developing a content marketing strategy for your business.
