Monica Stockbridge was born and raised in Colorado, where she has developed an unshakable love for mountains and sunshine. Her other interests—writing and communications—also took root at a young age while she created storybooks and dramatic plays with her younger siblings. Today, Monica is grateful to have settled in her home state with her husband and their cat to pursue outdoor adventures and a career as a writer and editor.
Monica earned her BA in English from Creighton University (ask her about all the fun things to do in Omaha) and landed a position at a startup e-commerce company shortly thereafter. While there, Monica and her team successfully developed an in-depth online education center—a robust repository of articles, blogs, buying guides, white papers and videos centered around commercial restaurant equipment.
Later, Monica worked as the senior editor for a national food and dining magazine, gaining a new perspective on writing for print—as well as a fresh appreciation for good food and craft beer. Monica has also contributed to Moon Handbooks and has successfully edited four independently published novels.
In her current role as a Content Specialist/Writer for SPROUT Content, Monica draws on her background in B2B content development, powerful storytelling abilities, and love of learning to produce performance content for a variety of clients.
