Justin P. Lambert was born and raised in upstate New York near the birthplace of the electric lightbulb and other kinda cool stuff. But it's cold there. So after marriage and kids came a strong desire to move south of the Mason-Dixon line and into milder climates. Now living and working about an hour north of Charlotte, North Carolina, Justin, his wife Melissa, his two children Travis and Emily, and his dog Jupiter are enjoying four equal seasons and an entirely new outlook on life!
Justin started writing as a child, and often flubbed his way through English class book reports without reading the book because he knew what the teachers wanted to hear and he could write it pretty well. But he really found his calling when he read Bob Bly's "Secrets of a Freelance Writer" and realized someone could actually make a living stringing words together professionally. He's been doing so as a freelancer since 2003, having made the transition to full time in 2011.
These days, while occasionally self-publishing collections of poetry and short stories, and working on several novels in various stages of development, Justin spends most of his time crafting creative and engaging content for SPROUT Content and others. When he's not writing, he's generally reading. And when he's not doing that, he's trying to figure out how to find the time to read or write.
